Aramoko-Ekiti, Nigeria — In a groundbreaking partnership aimed at transforming the digital landscape of Ekiti State, the Nigeria Entrepreneurship Youth Initiative (N.E.Y.I) has been officially confirmed as the facilitator of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA)-powered Digital Skills Empowerment Program in Ekiti.

 

 

The initiative, which is proudly supported by His Royal Majesty, Dr. (Amb.) Olusegun Aderemi, Atayero I of Aramoko Kingdom, will empower over 100 young people in its pilot phase with globally relevant technology and entrepreneurial skills. This milestone marks a significant step in bridging the digital divide between rural communities and modern innovation hubs.

The program will feature intensive, hands-on training in:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)

  • Digital Entrepreneurship

  • No-Code and Low-Code Development

  • Internet of Things (IoT) & Satellite Connectivity

  • Mobile Cybersecurity

  • Digital Marketing

  • Creation of Digital Products & Global Services

NEYI Techpreneurship Hub, as the lead facilitator, will deploy its expertise in grassroots tech development to train participants and prepare them for international remote work and digital business opportunities.

Though it begins in Aramoko, the program is open to youths from all across Ekiti State, making it one of the most inclusive and impactful grassroots tech initiatives in the region.

All participants will receive certificates with unique QR codes for digital verification, helping them stand out in remote job markets and global digital platforms.
